As an Indian I have grown up in a society where little bribing is a part of life. But mostly people who take bribes are nice people (good at heart), they are poor, underpaid etc. Although ideally one should not bribe, "India is not ideal". If the govt. would pay ppl. enough, create more jobs, if schools would pay teachers enough- there would be no reason for bribe. Like for eg, in USA even the state minimum wage is more than enough for daily sustenance. Btw, did you see "Dombivali Fast" (marathi movie). I felt the film went overboard and the protagonist had no reason to self destruct his normal life for exposing petty bribery. Chai- Pani. ha ha.
