Yeah I agree good is no longer good enough and great is just plain geeky or for that matter even rhetorical or sarcastic ( Oh Great!!, now what )…well all vocabularies go thorough a life cycle..there are some creations along the way like “fantabulous” which never existed before ( although awesome did )..

In fact nowadays in USA there is a trend- nothing is good. Ppl just say “thats not bad” they never say “thats good”. Rarely they say “thats def. not bad” meaning “ok- i must concede thats good”.
